I used to think of art as sitting in a room with dimmed lighting, canvas in front of me and brushes in hand, strokes flying and imagination bursting. Art was color and creation and creativity all in one.

Then I studied graphic design, and discovered a world of art with no mess, no canvas, and no paint. And I gradually realized that art encompasses so much more than just paintbrushes - it is a vehicle of expression. Art means expressing your clients' dreams and visions for their companies with logos and brand identity; art means expressing a noble cause through a striking poster; art means expressing the individual vibe and personality of each brochure, magazine, flyer, and business card.

As an artist, my goal is to capture each message, hone in on its details, and express it in the most suitable way possible - and then to go back to that quiet room, take out my brushes and charcoals, and let my imagination take hold of me.
